This is not just another Indian restaurant. A waterfall rolls across the ceiling of what was formerly a bank. Expect quirky decor and often quirky service along with delightful and unusual flavors. Many of the dishes seem to be a fusion of French and southern Indian with a touch of whimsy. Our mouth waters at the mention of the ragda patties, jalapeno nan and the Navrattan Korma. Yes, their chicken tikka masala is also very good. David Rosengarten says this is the best Indian restaurant in the U.S. We haven't tried them all, but he could be right.

Hours: Monday - Thursday, noon - 10 pm, Friday and Saturday, noon - 11 pm; Sunday, noon - 9:30 pm
