Jeffrey and Jennifer Kohn, owners of the terrific Kneaded Bread opened another top-notch place. They went on a 25-restaurant barbecue tasting journey before opening Q, a slightly Spartan restaurant (order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.) Thank heavens they took this journey and we can satisfy our cravings for authentic pulled pork and beef brisket. For sides, order collard greens and baked beans.

Hours: weekdays, 11 am - 3 pm, 5 pm - 11 pm; Saturday, 10 am - 11 pm; Sunday, 10 am - 10 pm.

Prices: Sandwich + 1 side $9 - $12, combo plate (2 meats + 2 sides + cornbread) $17.
