We are willing to travel a distance from Greenwich for a fun
experience. When we went to Ash Creek Saloon, we were certainly
glad we had made a reservation. This very large restaurant was
packed with families and folks of all ages. Ash Creek has
transformed what was formerly a hat factory into an informal,
nostalgic, cowboy-style restaurant. Even with the large number
of tables, the service was quick and friendly. The portions were
large. The food may not be completely authentic Texas, or even
Oklahoma, but it was still delicious. Where else can you find
Chicken Fried Steak? The BBQ beef brisket and ribs are also
winners.
Hours: Open everyday, Sunday - Thursday, 11:30 am - 10
pm; Friday and Saturday until 10:30 pm.
