The Best Chocolate Truffles

On September 10, 2004, Carolyn & Jerry Anderson hosted their second "blind" tasting party. This time it was chocolate truffles and vanilla ice cream! Over 100 of Anderson Associates' present and former clients - Greenwich residents from all over town - gave us their opinion. The evening began with a short lecture on chocolates and how to taste them by Dina Cheney of Cooking by Heart. Then the truffles and ice cream were served alternately. Each judge was asked to rate the entries on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best. Following the tabulations of ratings, we came up with the Best in each category. Eight Truffle companies were rated. The Top Five Truffles Companies with their scores are listed below.
